CC critica que el consistorio funcione con un presupuesto de hace dos años

"La incapacidad del gobierno local de equilibrar ingresos y gastos, como así lo demuestra el desfase negativo de más de 5.000.000 de euros en las arcas municipales, ha provocado que el presupuesto se haya prorrogado y se trabaje con unas cuentas públicas de 2010", afirma el grupo municipal de Coalición Canaria (CC) en Candelaria.

La Banda La Candelaria vuelve a sus orígenes

"Queremos reforzar los lazos entre los municipios de Arafo y Candelaria. Para ello, aprovecharemos un hecho cargado de simbolismo, el 86 aniversario de la fundación de la Banda de Música La Candelaria, ocurrida en 1926 con motivo de un concierto en la Villa Mariana por las fiestas de la Patrona de Canarias". Lo asegura José Carlos Fariña Pérez, director de la Agrupación musical arafera que hoy, a partir de las 12:30 horas, ofrecerá un concierto conmemorativo en el Cine Viejo de Candelaria.

Una vecina de la capital pide ayuda para repatriar el cadáver de su hijo a Colombia

Myriam Soley Jiménez Paniauga, vecina de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, perdió a su hijo de 21 años el pasado domingo. Esta mujer viuda, de origen colombiano, desea repatriar el cadáver del chico para sepultarlo junto a su familia.

Costas atiende a los vecinos y corrige la obra que impedía el acceso a las viviendas

La Dirección General de Costas ordenó a la empresa que realiza el paseo peatonal de Cho Vito a que cubriera de inmediato el socavón provocado por dicha actuación que impedía el acceso de los vecinos a sus viviendas durante el lunes pasado. Una vez que el hoyo quedó debidamente cubierto, los habitantes de este poblado marinero pueden entrar en sus casas por la zona frontal del lugar con seguridad.

El gobierno local califica de "oportunista" al portavoz del PP
