La opción del soterramiento del tren se refuerza por las casas con valor histórico

Los vecinos de La Cruz Chica y el propio Ayuntamiento de La Laguna rechazan el paso del tren del Norte por esta zona en superficie y, en sus alegaciones, han pedido que se amplíe el tramo soterrado para minimizar las afecciones. Aunque el trazado definitivo aún está en estudio y puede haber cambios, lo más probable es que los deseos de estos residentes y del consistorio se cumplan sin necesidad de mucha insistencia política o presiones. La presencia en ese tramo, situado junto a la autopista del Norte y de forma paralela a Guamasa, de diversas viviendas con valor patrimonial que no se pueden tocar hace que el Cabildo acepte ahora como más probable la opción del soterramiento.
